Tampa Bay Brewing Company is widely regarded as the "OG" of Florida Craft Breweries. Founded in 1995, TBBC is a family owned an operated commercial craft brewery, taproom and restaurant. TBBC's origins began in the Ybor City section of Tampa Bay, Florida. Then in 2015 a larger production facility opened in Westchase, an up and coming business district of Tampa. Dave Dobel (owner), oversees operations and product development. The brewery boasts a diverse portfolio of Ales, Lagers, and Sours. Often pushing the limits of innovative brewing by combining a wide variety of ingredients that normally would not find their way into a beer. Brands like "Key Lime Pie in the Face", "Big Guava Empanada", and "Citrus Grove" all pay homage to the flavorful Florida lifestyle. But the brewery has also made it's mark by brewing award winning iconic brands such as "Reef Donkey" American Pale Ale, "Old Elephant Foot" IPA, and the newest addition "Coral Head" Tropical IPA.

On to the beer....

"Midnight Muffin" is a 8% ABV Imperial Blackberry Sour. Brewed with Blackberries, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Gram Cracker, and lactose. Its flavor is described by the brewery as "the rich tartness of ripe blackberries will hit first, followed by a smooth, decadent sweetness from the vanilla and lactose. Each sip feels like indulging in a late-night dessert straight from the oven." It does sound pretty decadent to us too!

Midnight is part of Tampa Bay Brewing's "Limited Release" portfolio and available now. So if you are interested in trying it, you better act fast, because they don't brew a lot of it. Available in their signature 16oz. 4pk cans, at your favorite craft beer retailer.
